Manfred Stromberg

Since he was 11 years old already, everything in Manfred’s life was about cycling. It all began with a BMX bike in the Ruhr area. After a series of championship titles, he switched to mountain biking, where he won the Silver medal in the German National Downhill Championships. In 1999, he founded his mountain bike school Bikeride, which soon became a leading school in the German-speaking world.
Yet after all, Manfred wanted to move to the mountains, being impressed by the nature, which is why he lives in Innsbruck today where he gives lessons to mountain bikers of all kinds and even carries his bike on a mountain peak at times. From time to time, he gives feedback to renowned bike companies and writes test articles for the German magazine MountainBIKE on riding techniques and bike component experiences. Besides all this, he became a father only lately.

No matter what Manfred does, he does it with his bike.
